Since the first vaccine was approved by the FDA in August 2021, we’ve seen a flurry of promotions, incentives and pushes aimed at compelling workers to get the jab. But now that the Supreme Court has scuttled Biden’s vaccine-or-test mandate for large businesses, what happens next? We’re treading yet more unexplored terrain, but data offers a clue as to which way the wind is blowing.
Anticipating what’s next
A recent Willis Towers Watson survey found that 57% of all respondents represent companies that either require, or plan to require, COVID-19 vaccinations. That includes 18% currently requiring vaccinations and 7% that plan to mandate vaccinations regardless of federal legislation.
