The foundations of an effective employee ambassador program
How to start working with employee ambassadors to attract and retain talent.
Blair Broussard, founder and owner of BB Squared, owned a PR and marketing agency for a decade before she fell in love with the people side of things. Today, she helps people at that intersection create positive and meaningful change.
This motivation also informs her work helping clients rethink their relationship with employee ambassadors and advocates. During her session at Ragan’s Employee Experience Conference this past summer, Broussard explained how that strategy builds a community, what’s required to activate ambassadors and much more.

Pulling data before launching a program
Citing an HBR study that employees who are actively engaged in their work are 87% less likely to leave, Broussard began by explaining how that engagement is best achieved by aligning HR and comms goals. Data drives decisions, and sharing data is a great place to start. This can make HR and comms best friends!
