Marketing Strategist
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Strategist (Strategist) will be responsible for implementing strategies to drive awareness and engagement to CWSL content on a variety of platforms including web and social media. This position will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure successful implementation of campaigns and initiatives while monitoring performance metrics and offering solutions to make improvements.
The Strategist will act as project manager to coordinate and organize marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for updating website content as requested to ensure user-friendliness, brand alignment, and optimal SEO performance.
Primary Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
- Marcom Project Management
- Proactively maintain content calendar and content production schedules.
- Coordinate and manage service requests, including monitoring and assigning incoming requests.
- Assist team with completing requests, and cross train to support members on the team.
- Maintain and update tracking of project assignments/deliverables.
- Attend creative brainstorms to track assignments and contribute creative ideas.
- Coordinate and manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and content teams, to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Create and maintain all project backup, status reports, purchase orders, estimates, and schedules.
- Website & SEO Management
- Oversee website updates to ensure user-friendliness, brand alignment, and optimal SEO performance.
- Develop and implement website maintenance guidelines.
- Track and improve website traffic, search engine rankings, and conversion rates.
- Review content for relevant and robust current content.
- Manage the Google Business profile to enhance local visibility.
- Administrative Support
- Assist with budget administration. Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs.
- Lead team meetings; draft agendas, communicate with team, update the agenda, take notes, etc.
- Maintain policies and procedure manuals.
- Oversee IT Contracts.
- Manage the administration of department databases; train staff, create procedural manuals, assist with setting policy.
- Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics for all marketing activities, including social media, email newsletters, paid advertising, and website content.
- Use analytics tools to measure engagement, traffic, conversions, and ROI, providing actionable insights for future campaigns.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze campaign performance metrics, online activity data and market research findings on a regular basis with the ability to immediately identify and react to changes.
- Compile monthly reports on marketing performance and share recommendations for optimization.
- Work with content specialist to implement changes to optimize results.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in traditional and/or digital marketing.
- Experience writing, editing, tracking, and measuring results from marketing campaigns required.
- 3+ years of experience with front end development required, some back-end knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with CSS and JavaScript is required; knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Experience with website development and maintenance.
- Experience with website administration (training, CMS administration)
Compensation: $90,000.00 – $105,000.00 Annual Salary
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for this role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The higher end of the range will be considered for well qualified candidates. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the law school reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the law school anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity and budget.
