As fans wait excitedly for the swashbuckling tale of a young space rascal, brand managers are hitching their spaceships to this star in hopes of marketing gold.

“Solo: A Star Wars Story” hits theatres May 25, but brand managers have been planning for months for this jump to lightspeed. The makers of the party staple “Solo Cup” were eager to tease their collaboration with the Star Wars brand.
