Ted Nguyen

Ted Nguyen is the manager of public communications and media relations at the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), a multimodal agency with an annual operating budget of $1 billion. He is also this year's Ragan and PR Daily DE&I Professional of the Year.  He has served in his role at OCTA since 2002, where he has created and implemented nationally recognized PR and social media program to enhance public engagement. He developed nation’s first federal stimulus website to enhance transparency and accountability and manages a 12-member staff with annual department budget of approximately $6 million. He also developed one of nation’s first social media guidelines with policies and procedures.
