Shira Good is a communications professional dedicated to fostering trust and collaboration through thoughtful strategy and clear messaging. As the Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications & Issues Management at the University of Denver, she oversees university-wide communications, media relations, crisis response, and more. Shira’s work supports complex organizational initiatives, including campus expansions, leadership transitions, and cultural transformations, with a focus on building resilience and alignment across diverse stakeholders -internal and external. With a prior background in marketing, Shira often supports DU's branding and marketing efforts as well.

In 2024, Shira and her team were honored with the PRSA Silver Anvil Award, recognizing a deep commitment to impactful and meaningful public relations. She holds a Master’s in Corporate and Organizational Communication with a Leadership concentration from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Video Production from Emerson College. Her background also includes specialized training in experience management.
