Shelly Plutowski

Shelly Plutowski is a speech writer and content manager in the Mayo Clinic’s Executive Office with more than 25 years of experience in the field of public affairs. She has been a full-time speechwriter for Mayo Clinic’s CEO and other executive leaders for the past five years. She also helped launch and manage “Mayo Clinic Medical Edge,” a syndicated multi-media product that includes TV, radio, Web and print components.  In the last several years, Shelly has collaborated with Mayo Clinic’s CEO and CAO to publish op-eds in Health Affairs, New England Journal of Medicine, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal as well as deliver speeches at The National Press Club, Detroit Economic Club, Massachusetts Medical Society and the World Economic Forum
