Senior Communications Manager, Global Employee and Executive Communications - Microsoft
Microsoft is a member of Ragan’s Communications Leadership Council. Lindsay Powers Tiernan is celebrating two exciting years with Microsoft, and has recently been helping drive AI understanding, learning and incorporation to help all employees thrive and embrace this exciting era of AI. She’s currently a Senior Communications Manager and has played a strategic role across the Global Employee and Executive Communications (GEEC) team, including helping develop a comms center of excellence for mergers and acquisitions at Microsoft –supporting both the Activision Blizzard and Nuance acquisitions – to creating an employee engagement and advocacy strategy for breakthrough news moments and flagship events. Her over decade long expertise in communications is complemented by her passion for musical theatre and vocal performance, which she has successfully integrated into corporate settings over the years by musically announcing IPOs, pitching Hackathon projects, and recapping fiscal year highlights or earnings reports. Prior to joining Microsoft and their Communications Group, Lindsay held various internal and external communications roles at online retailer Zulily, Tableau Software, and Salesforce.
