Levar Cooper serves as Communications Director for the Lake County Government in Central Florida, where he oversees strategic communications, including media relations, digital/print design, brand management, and web development. As a strategist and futurist, Levar drives innovation, particularly in Customer Experience (CX) and digital transformation. An autodidactic learner, his dedication to continuous improvement positions him as a thought leader in the ever-evolving areas of communications and public engagement. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Levar played a pivotal role in forming strategic communications to help the county government navigate a complex and rapidly changing landscape. Levar is an award-winning communicator but prides himself mostly on his ability to positively impact the communities he serves. From his seat on the executive team, he is leading Lake County’s AI implementation efforts, ensuring the responsible and strategic adoption of the technology.
