Vice President, University Communications - DePaul University

A strategic communications leader, Elizabeth has more than 20 years of experience in higher education and government institutions. She is currently the vice president for University Communications at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Elizabeth is responsible for leading all communications strategies across the university, including crisis response, issues and reputation management, media relations, and executive and internal communications. Prior to DePaul, Elizabeth led communication initiatives for multiple global particle physics projects at Fermilab, a U.S. Department of Energy laboratory in Batavia, Illinois. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in English literature from Brown University. She also has a 1st degree black belt in Kyuki-Do, a mixed martial art. She lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband, son, three dogs and three chinchillas.
