Colonel Christine M. Houser

Colonel Houser is an active U.S. Marine at Camp Pendleton. Her personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal Strike Flight Numeral six, Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medal (Gold Star in lieu of second award), Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal (Gold Star in lieu of second award).  After graduating from the U.S. Naval Acad­emy in 2001, she commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and deployed to Al Asad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, followed by a second deployment to Fallujah, Iraq with IIMEF as the OPSEC Officer and Iraqi Women’s Engagement Officer.
