Named to Fortune’s list of Most Powerful Women and with more than 30 years of experience at executive levels in both public and private companies, as well as multiple company directorships, Christie works with companies and CEOs on strategy, innovation and growth. She was chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises from 1988 to 2009 and in her last year as CEO, Playboy generated close to $1 billion in global retail sales. Christie founded the First Amendment Awards in 1979 and she helped to raise $30 million to build the CORE Center in Chicago, the first outpatient facility in the Midwest for people with AIDS.

Christie is currently a board member of five for-profit boards, including R.D. Offutt Company, Public Good, Metro Edge Development Partners, Semasio and ScentBeauty. She serves on five not-for-profit boards, including Rush University Medical Center, Springboard Enterprises, Center for American Progress Action, Better Government Association, and Press Forward.
