Carri Twigg, co-founder and head of development for The Culture House, a Black, Brown, women-owned premium TV and immersive experiences company specializing in storytelling about the cultural questions shaping society, identity and politics.
Carri is behind the Netflix top 10 series Ladies First: A Story of Women in Hip Hop, The Hair Tales for Hulu and Growing Up for Disney+.
Before her successful pivot to media, Carri spent 15 years working at every level of American politics and government, serving in the Obama White House as Special Assistant to the President and Director of Public Engagement for then Vice President Biden.
In 2022, Carri was appointed by President Biden to the President's Advisory Committee on the Arts and the Kennedy Center Board.
