Andres ‘Dre’ Muñiz

As Associate Director of Global Manufacturing and Quality Communications at Lilly, Dre is responsible for crafting and executing communication strategies that inform and inspire more than 10,000 global employees worldwide.
Before joining Lilly, Dre was Executive and Corporate Communications Manager at Cummins, where he played a pivotal role in introducing two new sustainable products to the market. He is also a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the U.S. Army Psychological Operations Forces, providing strategic communication support for U.S. Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH).
Dre holds a master’s degree in strategic communications and advertising from Purdue University and a bachelor’s in communications from Southern New Hampshire University. His expertise has been recognized internally at Lilly with the 2024 Manufacturing Leadership Award for Inclusion for his contributions to enhancing the employee experience within manufacturing and quality. In 2021, the American Red Cross in North Carolina recognized him as Communications Volunteer of the Year for supporting their digital and social media engagement teams during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department of the Army has also recognized Dre’s Strategic Communication work with SOCSOUTH through several Army Achievement Medals and the Army Commendation Medal.
