Amyn Jan

Amyn Jan is the Chief AI Architect at the Department of Defense in the U.S. Federal Government. He has well over a decade of experience leading large data science teams and pioneering artificial intelligence initiatives. At the Agency, he managed teams advancing open-source intelligence using natural language processing (NLP), machine translation and computer vision applications. His career spans government, biomedical, telecommunications and semiconductors, including groundbreaking work in U.S. national security. He also served as a Senior Advisor for the Special Competitive Studies Project (scsp.ai) and advises AI startups.

Mr. A holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Virginia Tech and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
