Alison Zurcher is director of internal communications at Seattle Children’s Hospital, one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country. As the leader of employee communications, Zurcher is passionate about fostering engagement among Seattle Children’s diverse workforce. She understands the power of strategic, empathetic and inspiring communications and drives human-centered storytelling to support key organizational initiatives. Prior to Seattle Children’s, Zurcher managed marketing and communications functions at not-for-profits, technology startups and broadcasting companies. With more than two decades of experience in competitive for- and not-for-profit industries and as a certified change practitioner, she brings strategic and creative acumen to ensure an organization’s, team’s, and individual’s goals are aligned and met. She also leads by example and is dedicated to developing and mentoring highly productive, engaged and creative teams, starting with her own.
