Infographic: 61 percent of employees plan to work during vacation
Do you factor time to check work emails into your vacation itinerary? If so, you’re not alone.
When most of us hear the word “vacation,” we think of sandy beaches, umbrella drinks, and relaxation. Computers, smartphones, and other signs of work are not part of the daydream.
Yet for many Americans, working while on vacation is a reality.
An infographic from TeamViewer and Harris Interactive reports that 61 percent of American employees say they are willing—or at least planning—to work during vacation this year, up from 52 percent in 2012.
