A common theme at Ragan’s 2024 Future of Communications conference was that the future is data-driven.
That throughline was the inspiration for a presentation with Grace Rogers, director of analytics at Ketchum,and Ashley Richardson, senior communications leader at Capital One.
Together, Rogers and Richardson presented an analogy to simplify the concept of media strategy with data insights: a Tex-Mex restaurant.
The “stable table”
An organization’s goals and objectives should be the foundation of communications strategy.
“If we have that sturdy table, it becomes that much easier to build our strategies, to have clarity into what we are delivering,” said Richardson.
