EX—the employee experience—still has a long way to go at many organizations
New data from Gallagher shows that while organizational leaders are thinking about employee wellness and belonging, there’s plenty of room for improvement.
When it comes to improving the employee experience (EX), top leaders in the C-suite are having discussion about the need to put people first, but the trend is still in its infancy, according to data from Gallagher’s State of the Sector Report.
Even if EX is on leaders’ radar, it likely hasn’t been formalized, with only 33% of organizations reporting a clear mandate from the top to improve employee experience around things like wellness in the workplace, employee culture and more.
When asked what is likely to resonate most with leaders when it comes to the benefits of EX, the survey reports that the C-suite is most attuned to employee morale and productivity. At the bottom of the list are attributes like employee advocacy and reduced absenteeism, key parts of a robust wellness program.
