Even before COVID-19 turned our world upside-down, workplace stress, anxiety and burnout were all approaching crisis levels. Now, we could be on the brink of an “epidemic of clinical depression.”
Thankfully, there has been an increase in awareness of mental health resources and the importance of self-care, but companies have work to do on minimizing stigma, providing more resources, and creating work environments conducive to genuine compassion and care.
