Decibel Blue is an integrated PR/marketing agency in Phoenix that does a bit of everything. They don’t use expressions such as “my marketing account” and “your media relations client.” Instead, every piece of business is “our account.” Their work is striking, whether they’re helping a used-furniture resale shop or a high-end caterer or the biggest real estate company in Arizona. Their billboards and print ads are amusing, to the (selling) point, and memorable. Decibel gives its employees time off or flex days for 5 weeks of the year, and they apparently mean it when they say, “Our sick ‘policy’ is: Stay home if you feel bad. Nobody is ever asked to choose between family and work. We value our people, treating them with respect and dignity.” A most unusual, and successful, integrated PR agency!
