Video “has an authenticity that’s hard to replicate through other mediums, and I think it’s really growing quite a bit, and it’s really worked well for us,” said Fred Morales, communications advisor at Valaris, an offshore drilling contractor.
One benefit of video compared to written communication is that the medium captures body language, tone and emotion. This takes away the sometimes polished, disconnected nature of corporate comms, and instead displays a more compelling, authentic message.
