Snap and A+E team up for original content series
The episodes will be available in the app’s ‘Discover’ section, and highlight the focus on crafting interactive videos optimized on mobile devices.
Snap is diving deeper into original content.
The company’s Snapchat platform will host “Second Chance,” a new series from A+E Network.
The eight-episode, unscripted series will launch in April inside Snapchat’s “Discover” section.
A press release states that the show will bring together couples who have broken up “to explore the breaking point in their relationship for the first time. In this sincere setting, couples seeking closure will also discover heartfelt opportunities for reconciliation.”
A new episode will be available each week once it premieres, and the series will be first available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Interestingly, there’s an agency—not a production company—behind the series. 45 & Dean is producing “Second Chance,” and the company says it has other series already in development.
