Wackiest things candidates have done to land a job
Some stunts, like fixing company equipment during the first interview, landed candidates jobs. Others, like dressing as a clown, did not.
If you’ve ever watched the TV shows “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette,” you know people will do crazy things for love.
When the contestants first meet the bachelor or bachelorette, they will sing, do backflips or wear embarrassing costumes to ensure they’re memorable enough to get a rose and advance to the next round.
Some of these approaches are memorable in a good way. Others are not.
Some people take a similar approach to job interviews, and come up with ways to stand out from the likely large pool of other candidates.
