Survey: Low-level employees are most trustworthy
Non-managers are trusted more than CEOs, a new survey says. If your CEO is your spokesperson, should you rethink your crisis plan?
Who do you trust more in your company, the person in the cube next to you, or members of the C-suite?
According to the Public Affairs Pulse, a survey of Americans’ opinions on business, the lower an employee’s level in a company, the more likely people will view him or her as ethical and honest.
Eighty-six percent of Americans rate non-managers as having average to high honesty and ethics, whereas 73 percent think managers have the same level of integrity. Only 50 percent think CEOs possess high honesty and ethics.
