As communicators, generative AI poses an interesting opportunity. It can enable you to do your job faster and more efficiently and focus on the human connections that make a comms career so worthwhile. At Ragan’s Future of Communications Conference late last year, Levar Cooper, director of communications for the Lake County (FL) Government, told the gathered audience that proficiency with AI doesn’t just happen overnight, instead comparing it to a years-long creative endeavor.
“Mastery isn’t a destination,” Cooper said, “It’s an endless pursuit fueled by passion and the ability to adapt and learn.”
