JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports to: CMO
We are a leading b2b media company seeking an experienced and ambitious Director of Event Logistics to join our team. This position includes oversight of all logistical aspects of event planning and execution. This includes venue management, vendor relationships, and on-site operations to ensure seamless event experiences for our communications and marketing customers.
This position is for those who want to roll up their sleeves and make things happen at our events. While there will be one team member to manage, the candidate will be an individual contributor overseeing multiple events at one time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the logistics for multiple events.
- Develop and implement logistical strategies for event execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers to secure necessary resources.
- Create event timelines and manage budgets related to logistics.
- Oversee attendee experience and onsite materials.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to improve future logistics planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality
- Certified Meeting Planner
- 5+ years of experience in event logistics or event management in the b2b media space
- Organizational and project management savvy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in event management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Requires monthly travel and extended hours during events.
