Paul Wendel

As the Senior Director of Purpose Communications & Strategic Engagements at Cisco, Paul is responsible for the overall Purpose narrative and Purpose communications strategy, helping amplify Cisco’s purpose to Power an Inclusive Future for All. In this role, he oversees the development of Cisco's ESG and corporate purpose narratives and spearheads the development and management of key communication platforms, including Cisco's annual Purpose Report and ESG reporting hub. Paul also fosters strategic partnerships with influential partners like the Clinton Global Initiative and the World Economic Forum. As part of his work, he also oversees the executive communications team for the People, Policy & Purpose Organization and previously led executive communications for Cisco's Chief People, Policy & Purpose Officer, showcasing a steadfast commitment to integrating purpose into Cisco’s global strategy. Prior to Cisco, Paul worked in the education and non-profit space.
