How comms, HR and legal can work better together
It takes proactivity and outside-the-box thinking to turn contention into collaboration across departments.
All too often for communicators, working to align with human resources and legal departments can put the labor in collaboration.
But ultimately, these three departments want the business and its operations to be successful, and learning to harmonize across these objectives can keep any organization at peak performance.
To address this convergence of priorities and best practices, Ragan was joined at our 2024 Employee Communications and Culture Conference in Chicago by Jayli Barkley, district attorney information specialist, communications division at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office; Amanda Minto, executive director of internal communications for technology, product and experience at Comcast, and Julie Baron, affiliate consultant at RCG.
