Kasey C. Wood

Kasey Wood, the Associate Director of Organizational Effectiveness at the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement (GLISI), is dedicated to collaborating with colleagues to construct strategies, lead processes, and develop tools aimed at bolstering collective efforts toward achieving organizational mission. With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector and a background in education and training, Wood brings a unique perspective to the table. Her commitment to nurturing wellbeing and fostering a sense of belonging is evident in her diverse experiences, including designing and facilitating youth and community outdoor recreation experiences, conducting qualitative research about long-term programmatic outcomes, and coordinating a national outreach center at the University of Georgia (UGA). Wood holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Master of Education from the University of Washington.
