Morgan Baden

Morgan Baden is an award-winning communications leader with a love of working for mission-based organizations. She currently serves as Vice President of Internal Communications at Upstream USA, a scaling nonprofit that seeks to ensure that equitable, patient-centered contraceptive care is basic healthcare; previous roles include Head of Executive Communications at Acumen and Vice President of Corporate Communications at Scholastic, and she has extensive experience in the education, parenting, and finance industries. A frequent presenter and panelist at conferences and events, Morgan has also taught social media marketing at New York University’s Center for Publishing program and led a variety of writing workshops for teens and adults. She graduated from The College of New Jersey and resides in Maplewood, NJ, with her family. She is also an author of books for teens and children; her debut novel, The Hive, co-written with her husband Barry Lyga, was named a Best Book of the Fall 2019 by PEOPLE Magazine.
