Assistant Professor In-Residence - UCONN School of Business
For over ten years, Brent Lucia has taught writing, literature and communication courses in higher education. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor In-Residence at the University of Connecticut, teaching business communication courses at UConn’s School of Business. His scholarship focuses on communication, composition, and rhetorical theory. Recently, he's been publishing on the communication strategies of Big Tech. specifically regarding XR technologies, and how new ethical frameworks should be designed to fit AI tools like ChatGPT. His research has been featured in New Media & Society, Rhetoric Review, Computers and Composition and Business and Professional Communication Quarterly. His short essays and creative writings on language and technology can also be found on his Substack, Far From Equilibrium.
