Global Head of Communications and Social Purpose - KFC
Kim Morgan, global head of communications and social purpose for KFC, oversees worldwide internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement and social purpose programming for the nearly 80-year-old iconic restaurant brand.
Morgan joined KFC in 2017 and is responsible for developing and implementing communications and stakeholder engagement strategies that position and advance KFC as one of the world’s biggest, most loved and trusted restaurant brands across more than 150 countries around the world.
Her responsibilities include issues and crisis management and mitigation, employee engagement, purpose and sustainability communications, brand reputation promotion and protection, brand storytelling, along with CEO and executive communications
Prior to KFC, Morgan was director of corporate communications at Texas Instruments (TI), a Fortune 200 global semiconductor and technology company, where she oversaw internal and external communications, including CEO, HR and manufacturing communications, as well as issues and crisis management.
Morgan also spent six years at Texas energy giant, TXU, where she supported communications for legislative and regulatory affairs, environmental impact and legal affairs. Morgan started her communications career at a legendary, Texas-based PR agency, Read Poland.
