Jocelyn Jackson
Senior Organizational Development Consultant - Houston Methodist Hospital
Jocelyn Jackson is a Senior Organizational Development Consultant at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. She joined Houston Methodist in June 2019. Jackson earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Houston. As an internal consultant her role is to partner and consult with leadership using a differentiated approach to strengthen the culture and effectiveness of Houston Methodist.
Jackson is also the Chair and Charter Member of the MOMs of Methodist Employee Resource Group, where she works in collaboration with the Office of DEI to provide support and programming to its members throughout the system. The mission of the ERG is to connect mothers at all our hospitals and highlight the challenges facing working moms in healthcare. Jackson collaborates with other stakeholders by connecting members with resources and tools that support their emotional and mental health. As the Chair she works closely with HR partners to determine ways the organization can continue to support employees who are caregivers at all stages of life.
Outside of Houston Methodist, Jackson is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a member of Jack & Jill of America, Inc. She also serves on the board of the Cullinan Park Conservancy to bring awareness to the importance of our community parks and the health benefits they provide for the people in our neighborhoods. Jackson is an avid reader, who also enjoys indoor cycling, volunteering in her community, mentoring, and spending time with family and friends.
