3 essentials for internal communication and a thriving culture
Messaging channels have changed, and transparency has become a workplace imperative. Here are the hows and whys of keeping employees informed and engaged.
One crucial element can make or break your company: employee communication.
Keep these three things in mind:
1. Everyone is a publisher. In the early days of PR, we thought of journalists as the only stakeholders who could publish content, but that’s certainly not the case now. Think of all employees as content creators—on their personal social channels, a blog or even face to face in their networks. They must take time, though, to craft the right words and think about the right message distribution channels. Something sensitive, for example, should be conveyed in an in-person meeting versus an email that could be shared.
